How Deck Clash Works

Deck Clash uses the same 12-factor weighted scoring system as the individual analyzer. Each deck is evaluated across premium fast mana, common fast mana, tutors, interaction/removal, combo pressure, mana efficiency, ramp quality, draw quality, curve health, land base quality, commander synergy, and game changers. The raw scores are normalized to a 1-10 scale, and brackets are derived from the overall power score. Each deck also receives heuristic-generated strengths and weaknesses. The comparison table highlights the winner in each metric category, making it easy to see where one deck outperforms another. Use Deck Clash for virtual playtesting, pre-tournament preparation, or simply to understand how your deck stacks up against your friends' builds.

The Atraxa deck might score higher on synergy and draw quality, while the Ur-Dragon deck leads in fast mana and combo pressure. Deck Clash shows you exactly where each deck excels and falls short, helping you decide which to bring to game night.

How it works

The Commander deck clash tool analyzes two or more Magic: The Gathering decks head-to-head. Paste your deck URLs (from Moxfield or Archidekt) and the tool fetches each decklist, enriches every card with Scryfall data, and calculates all relevant metrics: power score (1–10), bracket (1–5), mana curve, ramp, card draw, removal, tutors, fast mana, combos, and game changers. Results are displayed in a side-by-side comparison table, and each deck receives heuristic-generated strengths and weaknesses.

Each deck is scored using the same 12-factor scoring system from the individual analyzer. The raw score is clamped to a bracket maximum (1-5) to produce the final score. The clash tool automatically identifies which deck leads in each metric and awards an overall winner. Perfect for virtual playtesting, settling debates with friends, or deciding which deck to bring to your next Commander game night.
