1. Information We Collect

Rate My Decks analyzes publicly available Commander deck lists from Moxfield and Archidekt. When you submit a deck URL, we fetch the deck list from the source platform and process it locally on our servers. We collect:

• The deck URL you submit
• The analyzed deck data (cards, metrics, scores)
• The deck's share ID for linking and sharing

We do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, or account credentials from Moxfield or Archidekt.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your deck data is used solely to generate the analysis results and to display recently analyzed decks on our homepage. Analyzed decks may appear in the "Recently Analyzed" section showing only the commander name and power score — no personal information is shown.

3. Caching

Analysis results are cached for up to 3 days to improve performance. Cached data includes the deck composition, calculated metrics, and power score. Cache entries are automatically removed after expiration.

4. Cookies

We use a single cookie (ratemydeck_locale) to remember your language preference. This cookie is set when you change the interface language and is not used for tracking.

We also use Google Analytics and Google AdSense, which may set their own cookies for analytics and advertising purposes. These are subject to Google's own privacy policies.

5. Third-Party Services

• Scryfall API — Used to enrich card data (images, mana costs, types). Scryfall's privacy policy applies.
• Moxfield / Archidekt — Used to fetch public deck lists. Their respective privacy policies apply.
• Google Analytics — We use Analytics to understand site usage patterns.
• Google AdSense — Ads may be displayed on the site. Google may use cookies for ad personalization.
• TCGPlayer — Buy links may redirect to TCGPlayer. Purchases are subject to TCGPlayer's terms.

6. Data Retention

Cached analysis results are stored for up to 3 days and then automatically deleted. We do not maintain long-term databases of user-submitted decks. The "Recently Analyzed" feature shows only the most recent entries and is periodically refreshed.

7. Your Rights

If you would like a specific deck analysis removed from our cache or from the "Recently Analyzed" section, please contact us at ratemydecks@protonmail.com. We will remove it promptly.

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect data transmitted through our service. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
